Abstract
亞洲民主動態調查的研究目的是比較東分析亞各國（區）民主化經驗，如各國對於民主體制的支持程度、東亞各國（區）獲得民主價值的管道，並且有系統地檢證比較政治學中的主要理論。 本研究為第一波調查，正式訪問時間於2001年6月1日至2001年7月31日，共蒐集1,415個樣本。
