國內外各項關於大學生心理狀態的調查結果顯示:世界各國平均約有20%到三分一的大學生有心理疾病的困擾,大學生所承受的壓力則是心理問題的顯著預測因子,不僅可能引起焦慮或憂鬱症狀,也嚴重影響學習表現。而課業壓力為大學生所經歷的主要壓力源之一,國內卻少有研究探討大學生如何因應課業壓力,以及其對心理健康與學習的影響。本研究因此擬探討自我疼惜作為復原力機制,在大學生的課業壓力知覺、 自我苛責、學習可控性及自主性需求滿足這些個人因素與課業壓力因應傾向間關係之調節作用,以及課業壓力因應方式與課業滿意度、課業焦慮間之關係。期待研究結果有助於我們對於與大學生課業壓力因應相關的因素與效應有較深的認識,以作為設計大學生課業壓力因應輔導方案的參考,並充實國內外相關主題之研究文獻。本研究招募約500位大學三、四年級以上學生作為研究參與者,進行自我疼惜、課業壓力因應、 課業壓力知覺、自我苛責、學習可控性、自主性心理需求、課業滿意度及課業焦慮量表之施測。所得資料將以多元迴歸、結構方程模式及多變量共變數分析等統計方法加以分析。
Results from the surveys on university students\' mental state among countries around the world suggested that on average, there were 20% to one third of the students suffering from mental illnesses. And the pressure experienced by these students was the significant predictor of their mental health problems. The factor of pressure not only caused students\' anxiety or depression, but also undermined their academic performance. Academic pressure was found to be one of the primary stressors that university students experienced. There is, however, a shortage of the research that explores how university students cope with the academic pressure and the effects of coping on their mental health and learning. As such, the present study attempts to examine the moderating effects of self compassion as a resilience mechanism on the relationships of university students\' personal factors including perceived academic pressure, self-criticism, control of learning beliefs, and autonomy need satisfaction to their academic coping tendencies, as well as the relationships between academic coping styles and academic satisfaction versus academic anxiety. It is hoped that results of the present study would advance our understanding of the factors related to and the effects of university students\' academic coping. Also, findings of the present research are expected to inform the design of the intervention regarding enhancing university students’ academic coping ability and to enrich the research literature. Five hundred university students in their third-year or fourth-year of study will be recruited as participants for the administration of the Self-Compassion Scale, Perceived Stress Scale, Self-Criticizing Scale, Scale of Control of Learning Beliefs, Basic Psychological Needs at Work Scales, Student University Satisfaction Scale, and State Anxiety Inventory. Multiple regression analyses, structural equation modeling, and multivariate analyses of covariance will be performed to analyze the collected data.
