青少年問題一直是大家關注的議題,其中內化(internalizing)之憂鬱/焦慮等情緒問題與外化(externalizing)之偏差行為在實務與學術界都受到相當的重視。青少年時期的憂鬱/焦慮情緒及偏差行為若未得到適當處理,對其日後社會心理發展將造成負面影響。目前台灣在探討父母教養、青少年人格與青少年內外化行為的關連研究中,有許多研究著重於父母教養對憂鬱、焦慮、偏差行為或廣泛心理健康的影響,但較少同時針對不同內外化問題行為的研究,也尚無同時以心理控制及行為控制面向來探討父母教養與青少年內外化行為之間的關係。 本研究的目的是(1)檢驗阿拉巴馬教養問卷(Alabama Parenting Questionnaire, APQ)在台灣使用的信效度(2)瞭解父母教養與青少年性格如何影響青少年之內外化行為。 本研究結果預期對台灣父母教養行為、青少年性格與青少年內外化行為之間的關係有更系統性的瞭解,透過研究資料建立父母教養與青少年性格的實務評估指標來瞭解青少年內外化問題的形成機制,提供台灣在青少年內外化問題處遇及親職教育的參考。
Adolescents’ problem behaviors have always been the great concern for psychologists. Internalizing problems such as depression and anxiety and externalizing behaviors such as delinquency have received considerable attention in clinical practices and research. Depression, anxiety and delinquency in adolescence usually have a negative impact on the social and psychological development of adolescents. Current studies in Taiwan often focus on the effect of parenting on either internalizing or externalizing behaviors, but not on the effect of parenting on both internalizing and externalizing behaviors. Moreover, little researches explored the effect of psychological control and behavioral control dimension on internalizing and externalizing behaviors in adolescence. The purpose of this study is to (1) examine the reliability and validity of the Alabama Parenting Questionnaire (APQ) in Taiwan; (2) to exanimate how the interaction between parenting and adolescent’s personality affects the development of internalizing and externalizing behaviors in adolescents. The findings of this study are expected to provide a more systematic understanding of the relationship among parenting, adolescent personality and the internalizing and externalizing behaviors in adolescence. The results of this study will also help to develop valid and practical-oriented cut-off indicators to evaluate the pathway of internalizing and externalizing behaviors development in adolescence through research data, and to provide suggestions for adolescent’s problem behaviors and parenting practices.
