華人家族企業進入交接高峰期,高達86%比例的華人家族企業已開始或準備家族傳承事宜,研究發現成功傳承至第二代只有30%,第三代只有12%,到了第四代更只有3%能維持家業,且在家族接班前後八年,股價平均跌幅將近60%,顯見家族企業的接班問題,影響家族企業甚鉅。台灣上市櫃企業超過74%都是家族企業,但只9%有明確的接班計畫,遠低於全球家族企業15%的比率。隨著時代環境變遷,每個世代皆有其世代觀念與想法,此「一代一念」情境下必然存在家族領導文化之衝突,然而,過去研究少有運用矛盾領導探討接班衝突相關議題。本計畫以二元觀點探討產業創新轉型,初步發現製造業多因接班歷程產生創新與轉型影響,尤其華人家族企業多以傳子之情境更加突顯。
Chinese family-owned enterprises enter into the peak of succession. As much as 86% of Chinese family-owned enterprises have begun or prepared power handover. Previous studies found that the success rate of succession of the second generation is 30%, that to the third generation is 12%, and that to the fourth generation is merely 3%. Moreover, the share price of the enterprises averagely declines nearly 60% during eight years before and after the succession. This shows that the succession of family-owned enterprises significantly influence the performance of the enterprises. More than 74% of listed Taiwanese companies are family-owned enterprises. Only 9% of them have a clear succession plan and is much lower than 15%, the rate of family-owned enterprises around the world. As the times change, each generation has its own concept and ideas. Under the context of \"one generation, one concept\", there must exists cultural conflict of family leadership.
