 本研究從台灣本土文化的儒學、佛學、民間信仰,探討慈善信念包含利他、修行、大愛與關懷、行善、積功德、福報與罪罰、勿積惡、因果業報等。 以臺灣本島國中小教師為研究母群,採叢集隨機抽樣。問卷則以半結構性訪問調查蒐集教師的積德修行信念之知覺,並與文獻整理所擬出的積德修行信念內涵, 對照整理,編擬教師「積德修行量表」;再以LISREL進行驗證性因素分析,以建構「積德修行量表」的各分層面因素之構念效度;並以工作績效與組織公民行 為做效標,建構教師積德修行信念量表的效果。最後,有效樣本數為1,577位教師。

The researcher, hence, explored the content of this belief through literature in Taiwanese culture or local culture (including Confucianism, Buddhism and folk beliefs). The study obtained the results were altruism, good deed practice, great love and care, making kindness, merit accumulation, rewards and penalties, fatalism, no wickedness, and karma. And it integrated all of these components as “the belief of accumulating virtues and practicing good deeds.” It constructed the scale of “the belief of accumulating virtues and practicing good deeds”. In order to establish the constructive validity of scale in each level, it made comfirmatory factor analysis through structural equation modeling. This study was also attempted to test its effect on teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior and work performance.
