本研究主要針對目前正就讀於中等以上學校原住民學生的家庭背景進行調查分析,以了解社會階層化因素對台灣原住民教育機會分配的影響及其對教育成效中介機制的 探討。在調查分析上,以台灣地區現就讀國中、高中職、大學院校等各級學校原住民學生為對象,進行問卷調查。藉實際調查資料的蒐集與分析,以了解不同家庭背 景對其子女接受各級學校教育機會及學業表現之影響,並藉以判斷不同教育社會學理論在原住民社會的適用情形。統計分析調查結果顯示,包括國中、高中職及大學 院校三項資料中,原住民家庭背景(雙親職業與教育)對子女學業表現沒有直接顯著影響效果,而家庭背景變項亦未發現有透過文化資本、經濟的投資與家庭教養而 對學生學業表現產生間接的影響效果。
The main purposes of this study are to understand the effects of family backgrounds on high school Aborigine students or above in access to education attainment . Questionnaires of the family backgrounds of Aborigine Students were constructed. It items composed family social economic backgrounds , cultural capital , educational investment , and educational attitude . The statistically processed results have come out as follows:Including three sets of data (junior high, senior high, and college ) , the effects of father\'s education, mother\'s education , father\'s occupational status , and mother\'s occupational status on school performance are not significant. Although the concept of cultural capital, educational investment, and educational attitude has theoretical implication , their effects on school performance in this study have not been obviously.
