本研究取某大學四個學院共七個科系修習「計算機概論」的497 位大學一年級學生為研究樣本。學生在八十八學年度第二學期填寫學習自我效能、學習策略、學習型態、及主觀學習成效等的綜合量表,而後再收集學期成績作為學習成效的客觀評量。資料分析結果發現,男生比女生有較好的學習品質、較高的電腦學科興趣、及較高的電腦自我效能。而女生在「作筆記」、「充分準備考試」、及「上課專心」的學習策略上,表現比男生好。以電腦自我效能而言,工學院最高,管理學院次之,設計學院再次之,文學院最低。此外,在重要的研究變項上,也發現有不少學院別的差異。至於 Kolb 的四類學習型態,在電腦自我效能、電腦學科興趣、及學習策略上,也呈現差異性。
本研究所驗證的「影響電腦學習成效的因徑模式」顯示,電腦自我效能與學習品質、電腦有用性、及電腦學科興趣等主觀的學習成效指標有顯著的相關,與學習策略也有顯著的相關,但是與客觀的學期成績無關。而學習策略則是影響學期成績的主要因素。

A sample of 497 college freshmen who enroll in the "Introduction to Computer " course is selected from a university in central Taiwan. All subjects are asked to fill out a questionnaire and their final grades are collected for analysis. Male students perceive higher quality of learning, higher interest to computer course, and higher computer self-efficacy than female students do. Female students outperform male students on taking notes, well preparation for test, and concentration in the classroom. The students from School of Engineering have the highest computer self-efficacy over the students from School of Management, School of Design and Arts, and School of Fine Arts. There are also differences of computer self-efficacy, the interest on computer, and learning strategies among Kolb's four learning styles. A path model shows the causal relationship among computer self-efficacy, learning strategy, and course performance. Computer self-efficacy significantly correlates with the interest to computer, the perceived usefulness of computer, the high learning quality and the learning strategy. The learning strategy is the major factor for predicting the computer course final grade.
