本研究的主要目的,在從老化核心概念及老化教學的知識與技能兩方面著手,為我國高齡教育教師建構一套系統化之老化教學核心能力指標,並進而了解高齡教育教師的培訓需求。經由老化核心概念、老化教學的知識與技能等方面文獻資料的蒐集與分析,建構出一套『高齡教育教師老化教學的核心能力與培訓需求』指標,並利用該指標與需求針對高齡教育教師進行培訓課程規劃與實驗,以發展出一個「高齡教育教師老化教學核心能力概念模型」,及一個「培訓課程內涵模型」,以作為未來推動高齡教育教師老化教學培訓工作及成效評估的基礎。本研究以全國的長青學苑與樂齡學習中心為對象,並採用方便取樣的方式實施。以母群體50%的方式隨機抽取158所長青學苑及114所樂齡學習中心,總計發出問卷1,632份,回收967份,總回收率59.3%。

Due to the arrival of ageing society in Taiwan, it has shown the lacks of insufficiency of on-the-job trainings among the senior education teachers. Also the teaching knowledge and skills on ageing and the needs and outcomes assessment in terms of on-the-job trainings are seldom seen or rarely to be available. Hence the first phase of this two-year length study is mainly focused on the constructions of core competence indicators among the senior education teachers. Then by adopting those indicators, an on-the-job training programme is designed and is conducted. Finally, it will be in the position to draw out two concept models, one is in which based on core competences among senior education teachers and the other is based on the needs and outcomes assessment. As for the research methods, the first year study adopts document analyses, focus group interviews and Delphi technique. A set of indicators are drawn from the questionnaires where Delphi technique is used to collect the data. Survey, content analyses and quasi-experimental design are used in the second year study as the research methods.
