  本研究以矯正人員為對象,探討其離職意向及影響離職意向產生的相關因素。 另外,本研究同時納入戒護人員及教化人員為研究樣本,進行比較研究,以進一步探究戒護人員及教化人員是否會因工作性質的差異,其離職意向及影響離職意向的相關因素也會有所差異。本研究參考Lambert與Hogan(2009)所提出的理論模型,採取分層抽樣的方式,以收容人數為分層依據,將監獄及看守所分成四層,分別對戒護人員及教化人員進行抽樣,並進行大規模的問卷調查。   本研究之有效樣本為本研究之樣本為2093位,包括1826位戒護人員及267位教化人員。結果發現,在戒護人員部分,在控制住背景因素後,戒護人員的工作壓力及工作危險性的感受程度愈高,組織承諾的程度越低,其離職意向之程度也愈高。然而,此分析結果顯示,戒護人員所感受之工作滿意度(內在與外在滿意度),對其離職之傾向沒有顯著之影響。在教化人員部分,教化人員感受到的工作壓力程度愈高,內在滿意度越低,組織承諾越低,其離職意向之程度也愈高。

  This study investigated the prevalence of turnover intents of Taiwanese correctional staff and the related factors leading to their turnover intents.Drawn from the literature, the model of explanation of correctional staff's turnover intent proposed by Lambert and Hogan (2009) was employed. In terms of the sampling framework, the stratified sampling was adopted.   There were 2093 valid questionnaires, including 1826 custodial officers and 267 rehabilitative officers. Results show that, for custodial officers, after controlling the background factors, jos stress and danger, and organizational commitment are realted to their turnover intents. For rehabilitative officers, job stress, job satisfaction, and ational commitment are realted to their turnover intents.
