 本研究分二部份。第一部份對中部和南部的公私立幼稚園實施問卷調查,探討創造性音樂活動的教學頻率與相關教學困難因素。研究採「分層比例隨機抽樣」,以 中部和南部的公私立幼稚園為母群體,抽取其中三分之一共572所為樣本。問卷設計以台灣幼稚園課程標準與美國音樂課程標準中與創造性音樂教學有關的行為敘 述為基礎,發展成四類共29種創造性音樂活動。調查結果顯示音樂才藝老師實施創造性音樂活動的頻率比帶班導師高。音樂才藝老師較少實施的活動,視活動內容 以太難、時間不足、樂器設備不足為主要困難因素。很多私立學校因有外聘音樂才藝老師規劃帶領音樂活動,因此帶班導師的困難也較公立園所少。大多數有困難者 為公立學校的帶班導師,以音樂知識能力不足為最重要的因素。本研究也發現中南部幼稚園所實施的音樂創作教學偏重節奏概念,較少以其他概念表達音樂創意;音 樂行為方面偏重以律動表達創意,較少以其他如歌唱、演奏等行為表達創意。本研究的第二部份為市售教材分析,以事先規劃的29種創造性音樂活動,加上教材分 析過程中發現而增加的10種活動來分類統計市售教材的內容。結果發現市售教材有關創作的內容主要是以肢體即興表達對音樂的感受,創作音樂的活動較欠缺。

 This study has two parts. The first part explored what types of and how often creative musical activities were taught in middle and southern Taiwanese kindergartens, and explored the problems associated with teaching them. A total of 29 creative musical activities, which were categorized into four levels, were listed in the survey questionnaire. The creative behaviors were developed from American national standards for music curriculum and Taiwanese curricular standards for kindergartens. The sample consisted of full-time head teachers and part-time music teachers at 572 public and private kindergartens. The results showed that head teachers had more difficulties than music teachers. Further, head teachers in private kindergartens have fewer problems in teaching creative musical activities than their counterparts in public kindergartens because private schools often hired part-time music teachers to assist music teaching. The most frequently chosen difficulty by head teachers was their lacking musical competence. This study also found that among musical concepts, rhythm was most frequently taught. In addition, creative movement activities were more frequently taught than other activities (such as creative singing and creative performing activities.) The second part of this study, the content analysis about creative musical activities in published Taiwanese teaching materials for kindergarten teachers, used both pre-designed and emergent categories to analyze the materials. Most of the creative musical activities found in the teaching materials were movement improvisations for expressing responses toward music or musical concepts. Activities regarding musical improvisation, composition, and arrangement were not much.
