 在媒體多元資訊超載的環境中,為了確保媒體發揮正功能而非負功能,媒體識讀能力成為當下顯著的議題。根據許多研究資料顯示,漫畫在一般青少年中是個受歡 迎且普及度高的媒體。也因此漫畫媒體使用的便利性與私密性對學童的影響更是不可忽略。本研究主要探究的問題包括(1)哪些指標可用來檢視國小學童的漫畫識 讀力?(2)國小學童人口特質等變項與漫畫識讀力的關聯為何? 根據文獻資料與訪談結果發現,可用漫畫選擇力、漫畫理解力、漫畫判別力以及免於受漫畫影響的能力作為國小學童漫畫識讀力的檢視指標。從性別變項檢視識讀指 標發現,國小女生對於漫畫的選擇能力、判別能力與免受漫畫影響能力都比男生高;男生只有在理解力方面的能力比女生高。從整體的識讀能力來看:學童在漫畫選 擇能力上的表現最佳,總平均分數達3.14,其次是對於漫畫的判別能力,平均分數為2.98,以及對於漫畫的理解能力,平均分數為2.38,最差的一環是 免受漫畫的影響能力,平均分數只有1.74。

In the media-saturated society, media literacy already became a significant issue in the society. According to lots of researches and media projects, comic books already became a part of children life. Compared to other media attributes, comic books have unique attributes of convenience and privacy. Its impact on children cannot be ignored anymore. There are two main purposes of the project. (1) What is the examining index of comics literacy? (2) What are the relationships between different demographic variables and the examining index of comics literacy? Based on literature review and interviewing data, the study found that the abilities to chose comics books, to comprehend comics content, to recognize the comics quality and to avoid the comics impact could be the index of comics literacy. Besides, according to the gender variable, female children got higher scores in the abilities of choosing, recognizing and avoiding impact. Male children only got high score in comprehending comics. From the whole index result, the best ability of comic literacy on elementary children was choosing comics (Mean=3.14). The ability of recognizing the comics quality was second (Mean=2.98) and comprehending comics content was third (Mean=2.38). The last ability of comics literacy was avoiding the comics impact (Mean=1.74).
