在 強調知識經濟的環境中,組織若能夠有效地引進與蓄積知識資源,並進一步將知識資源轉換為本身獨特的核心競爭力,則組織當能在未來建立長期的競爭優勢。 與其他廠商合作之策略聯盟是企業自外部引進關鍵知識之有效做法。組織欲引進外部知識以創造競爭力,則強調組織間關係中之信任、規範等內涵將對於知識的移 轉、生產及累積有重大的影響。因此,有效管理及維持組織間關係將有助於企業進行知識管理。合作關係鑲嵌於社會結構中,社會資本之觀念可有效解釋組織間關係 之內涵。本研究即以社會資本觀點為基礎,探討組織間之策略聯盟中社會資本與知識管理之相關性。本研究以參與工研院科技專案合作研發之策略聯盟的廠商為對 象,實證結果發現研發聯盟中社會資本之建構可增進知識引進、移轉與運用之績效。最後,本研究彙總理論與實證之意涵,並提出管理實務與學術研究方向之建議。

In this knowledge-based economy, knowledge is a crucial resource for firms to develop and maintain sustainable com- petitive advantages. One of the effective strategies to acquire knowledge externally is cooperating with other stakeholders, e.g. strategic alliance. Alliance creates an inter- organizational relationship which social capital, the value created by facilitating connection and communication between individuals or network, is an important perspective to explore and explain the cooperative relationships. Social capital theory, underscoring its relational characteristics, implies that a firm should pursue strategies focusing on the development of valuable networks with external parties. A framework is proposed to discuss the relationship between social capital and knowledge management in the strategic alliance. An analysis of 74 questionnaire responses from participants in the strategic alliance of ITRI-sponsored R&D consortia finds that the setup of social capital can facilitate knowledge acquiring, creation, transfer and exploitation. Finally, this study draws some implications and suggestions for the academy and the practice as well.
