本研究從過去研究成果(林文瑛、王震武,民84)中所獲得的一些與原先假設有出入的結果出發,重新審慎檢討是否有調整過去研究架構,以獲得更切合實際教養現 象的可能性。經過對資料的重新解讀、相關文獻的探討與整理,本研究找到了新的研究觀點,並提出了新的研究架構。本研究認為,教養觀之所以無法預測教養行 為,可能是因為教養行為並非只是單純的哲學理念或經驗反省,而是同時正不自覺地實踐著個人主觀、未經驗證的人性觀的緣故。因此,本研究的基本研究架構是, 孕育自文化的人性觀為教養行為定一個基調,限制了一定的範圍與方向;教養觀與父母角色認知則在某種程度上,調整、校正這樣的方向與範圍。但是最終教養行為 的多樣性與不可預測性,則主要是因為教養行為本身是個動態歷程,受到父母個人特質、子女個人特質,以及情境因素的影響,更重要的是,受到父母教養行為與子 女反應之間的互動之影響。基於這樣的觀點,本研究將不採取以往研究將「教養行為」視為互動結果的研究方式,而嘗試將「教養行為的動態歷程」作為各種變項互 動的作用標的。本研究的研究目的主要是驗證以下的假設: (1)父母的人性觀為父母的教養行為設定了實踐範圍,是教養行為的限制因素; (2)父母的教養觀能夠在人性觀所界定的實踐範圍內影響教養行為; (3)父母對父母角色的認知能相當程度的影響教養行為的動態歷程,主要影響父母對子女行為違反期待的容忍度; (4)教養行為的動態歷程中,子女的反應是造成父母教養方式改變的關鍵因素。 本研究打算從發展人性觀、教養觀、父母角色認知的測量工具著手,釐清個人人性觀、教養觀,與個人教養行為之間的限制與調控關係,並探討教養行為的動態歷程 中,父母角色認知所扮演的角色。同時,最重要的,期待能由對於教養行為動態歷程的了解,為教養行為的研究提供新角度、新觀點。

The research started out from the questions that previous work (Lin & Wang, 1995) has left. The result that parent\'s view of education could not explain of parenting behavior is reinterpreted and the pathways to parenting behavior are reconstructed. It is hypothesized that parent\'s view of human nature set the range for parenting behavior while parent\'s view of education and parent\'s role awareness regulate it. However, the present research does not take parenting behavior as static pattern but dynamic process. Therefore, children\'s reaction following initiating parenting behavior will be analyzed as dyad. The focus of the present research is on understanding the process of acquiring various parenting, including those parenting behavious research describe in abstractions. In-depth interview and questionnaire will be utilized to collect data. General questions that the present research addresses include: How is the parenting behavior of pattern of parenting acquired of maintained? What roles do views of human nature and views of education play in setting the direction of parenting? How do role awareness mediate parenting behavior? How are parent roles recognized and acquired? As for the dynamic process of parenting,: what events will trigger the performance of a parenting behavior? How are the interactions between parent and child? Specifically, how do parents \"train\" children to be well-adjusted or maladjusted and how does a child \"train\" his/her parents to be well-adjusted or maladjusted? The data will be analyzed to testify the above mentioned hypotheses.
