本研究旨在探討「地方文化、學校與社區之關係」,並以台南市安平區擁有悠久歷史的安平文化及國小教育為實證個案。本研究採用西方學者Spindler 、Ogbu 二人所提出的「文化不連續」觀點為切入點,探討學校教育與地方文化之間的疏離與文化不連續現象,以及學校教育與社區組織之間協調連繫網絡未能發揮功能等議 題,為其特色。 採取研究方法包括:文獻回顧與理論建構、各級政府單位與國小統計報告、深入訪談、問卷調查、參與觀察、統計歸納分析結果。屬於質化與量化並重的方法。問卷 調查進行抽樣,得到有效樣本分別為國小40 份、學童299 份、家長323 份以及社區組織30份。經過經驗研究,結果發現: (一)在國小學校教育與安平地方文化之關係上,目前是存在著某種程度的文化不連續現象,亦即,雖然當今的國小教育重視鄉土教學的推動,但仍存在疏離於地方 文化的落差,故應該設法加以彌補。學校教育在傳遞與擴散安平文化上,仍有待加強。 (二)在國小學校教育與社區組織(側重廟宇)之關係上,目前是存在著明顯的文化不連續,尤其是社區發展協會、文教基金會、廟宇方面,不論是在推動安平文化 的觀念上或作法上,彼此之間的協調機制與連繫網絡關係是無法發揮功能的,故亟待建立。各社區組織在傳遞或擴散安平文化的視野與努力上,是相當不足的。 (三)初步建構有關「安平文化、學校教育與社區之間聯盟關係」之模型,提供給推動地方文化之相關單位作為參考。 最後,本研究亦針對學校與社區組織二方面分別提出建議。在國小教育方面,主要包括:鄉土教材社區化、教育過程社區化;校園活動社區化;國小教師教學態度應 重新調整。在社區組織方面,主要包括:結合學校的社區共同體;建立各社區組織之間以及社區組織與國小教育之間的協調機制與連繫網絡關係;社區組織與商店之 社區教育化、社區博物館化。

The purpose of this project is to explore the relationship between local culture, school and community. We will take on empirical study on Anping culture and primary school in Anping district. And, we attempt to explore(1)cultural discontinuity between school education and local culture and(2)disfunction among school and community organizations from viewpoints of \"cultural discontinuity \" concepts asserted by George Spindler and J. U. Ogbu. Some research methods are taken including literature review and theory formation, government and school report collecting, in-depth review, questionnaire, participant observation, statistic analysis etc. Valid questionnaire are administered to 40 primary school teachers, 299 students, 323 adults and 30 community organizations. The main findings are as follows: 1.There are cultural discontinuities between primary school education and Anping local culture in present. And, the diffusion and emanation of Anping culture based on primary school education will be strengthened in future. 2.There are significant cultural discontinuities between primary school education and community organizations(for example, temples)in present. There are not any negotiation mechanisms and communication networks between them. And, the diffusion and emanation of Anping culture based on community organizations are very inadequate. 3.We provide \"Anping culture, primary school education and community coalition relations model\" in this study. We offer some suggestions to primary school education and community in this study. In primary school education level, communitication of local teaching materials, communitication of campus activities, teachers\' attitudes re-adjustment are included. In community organizations level, community -school combination, to construct negotiation mechanisms and communication networks between community organization and community organization and between primary school education and community organization, and community educationalization andmuseumization of community organizations and shopping streets\' stores.
