隨 著週休二日的施行,國民對休閒的需求也漸漸提昇,國民中學所提供的休閒活動對當地居民來說可及性高,同時也可以與鄰居分享相同的興趣。因此進而對當地社區 意識的凝聚有相當的助益。故本研究主要的目的為評估國民中學的休閒活動對於社區意識凝聚的貢獻,將探討何種休閒活動的內容與型式對社區意識的凝聚的效益較 為顯著,故學校行政單位可以藉此研究的結果作為將來與社區互動的參考。本研究的資料收集的步驟包含以開放式問卷了解目前國民中學休閒活動的狀況。再以結構 式問卷訪問學區內之居民,藉以評估國民中學休閒活動與社區意識的關係。本研究的成果是在於提供國民中學校方藉由休閒活動來與社區居民互動的方向,相信必能 提升國民中學校園開放的品質。對參與休閒活動的社區居民來說,可以了解學校資源在社區發展中的意義, 以加強其參與社區工作之意願。同時, 對主管單位而言可以了解如何運用國民中學的資源, 並規劃選擇適合的休閒活動並增進居民之社區意識。

Since reducing the working hours in Taiwan, currently recreational demands are growing. The recreational activities, e growing. The recreational activities, taken place in Taipei middle schools, play an important role in urban community recreation. During people\'s leisure time, recreational activities in middle schools are much more accessible than others. Through these recreational activities, people can share their interests with their neighbors in their communities. Therefore, the recreational activities in Taipei middle school can contribute to the sense of community within their communities. This research attempts to study the areas and formats of recreational activities, which can influence people to feel sense of community. The data collection will apply both quality and quantity to define the recreational activities in Taipei middle schools and to determine the contributions of recreational activities in Taipei middle school to sense of community. The results of this study will give the direction for interacting between middle schools and their communities. Then, the school can improve the quality of campus. The communities can use school resources more carefully.The government can establish policies which can meet both schools and communities demands.
