一個國家的現代化,須透過工業化才能迅速達成。機械工業是一個國家工業發展的基礎。而隨著資訊電子技術的進步,在未來高級工業發展中,高級自動化機械將大量被採用,機械工業益顯得重要。基於此理由,本研究之主要研究目的乃在於:

一、瞭解機械製造業廠商對基層主管的教育訓練方式。二、瞭解機械製造業廠商對基層主管的教育訓練內涵。三、瞭解機械製造業工廠基層主管管理能力之現況。 四、探討機械製造業工廠基層主管管理能力之教育訓練需求。五、根據研究結果,提出建議供職業訓練機構、大專院校及製造業廠商培訓基層主管參考。

為達成研究目的,本研究兼採量化與質的研究,以問卷調查法為主,並以理論分析、專家學者能力分析會議進行研究。為求研究統計之嚴謹,本研究選取 0.05 的顯著水準,所採用描述統計資料與考驗各項假設所需統計方法,分別 為次數分配、百分比、平均數、標準差、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析及雪菲事後比較進行分析。透過上述之探討,綜合歸納本研究提出機械製造業工廠基層主管管理能力之現況、機械製造業廠商對基層主管之 教育訓練方式、機械製造業廠商對基層主管之教育訓練內涵(課程內容)、機械製造業工廠基層主管管理能力之教育訓練需求四點主要結論。

最後,本研究根據研究結論與研究發現,提出對職業訓練機構、機械製造業廠商、製造業廠商基層主管、大專院校等四方面的建議,以作為未來培訓基層主管之 參考。

Modernization of conturty must industrialized. Based of industrial development in country is mechanical industrial.When techinical advance of electrical and micro-computer, automatic machine will most used and mechanical industrial more important in the future. These are the major motivations of this research. As such, this study mainly focuses on the competency of manufacturers about the education and training of first-line managers. The authors examined of this research are to explore: 1. To understand the ways and contents of the training of the first- line managers at manufacturers in Taiwan. 2. To discuss the status and requirements of the competencies of plant management of first-line managers, 3. To provide some suggestions to the manufacturers about the training of the first-line managers. The study combines both quantitative and qualitative research designs. The author conducted a questionnaire survey as well as a literature analysis,revised conference on competency analysis. This research employs descriptive statistics such as frequency distribution and percentile. The hypotheses are tested by mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe posterior comparisons at significant level of 0.05 to produce more conservative results.

Through the above discussion, the research can be summarized as follows:(1) the currents compentence of the training of the first-line managers at manufacturers(2)the ways of the training of the first-line managers at manufacturers(3) the contents of the training of the first-line managers at manufacturers(4) the needs of the training of the first-line managers at manufac- turers. Based on the findings, the author makes recommendations to (1) the vocational training center,(2)manufacturers,(3)the first-line managers at manufacturers, (4) universitys and colleges. Moreover , the conclusion of this research tends to serve as a guideline for information on the qualification of trainers and retraining programs for current trainers.
