本研究主要目的在了解教室環境噪音與教室授課音量關係,並探討吵靜地區教室嗓音健康問題、音質變化狀況。本研究選取在教室環境噪音為65dBA以下班級任教 老師126名、及教室環境噪音在55dBA以下班級任教老師100名為研究對象。利用問卷、儀器測量收集資料。主要研究結果如下:(1)教師在嗓音保健知 識與教師授課音量有顯著相關,吵校教師授課音量顯著高於靜校教師。(2)教師在嗓音保健知識的平均答對率為64.4%,兩組教師並無顯著差異。(3)在自 覺嗓音問題方面,平均每位教師回答有3個嗓音問題的徵狀,且有一半以上的人同時有3個以上嗓音方面的問題,吵靜教師顯著多於靜校教師。(4)在音質分析方 面,則無論是吵或靜校教師授課時間長短與音質變化並無顯著相關。

The main purpose of the study was to understand the relationship between school environmental noise and teachers\' teaching voice level, and also provide the data about the relationship of noise and teacher\'s vocal problems, and their voice spectrum change. The study chose 126 teachers who teach at the school where the noisy level within the classroom exceeds 65dBA in Taipei City, and another 100 teachers who teach in the rural area where the noise level within the classroom below 55dBA. Major findings were as follows ﹕(1)There was a significant correlation between classroom noise level and teachers\' teaching voice level. The teaching voice level of teachers who teach at the noise area was significant higher than the teachers who teach at the rural area. (2) The mean percentage on vocal health knowledge was 64.4%, and there was no significant difference between two groups. (3) The mean number of symptoms of vocal attrition reported by the teachers was 3. Over one half of teachers reported multiple (3+) symptoms. The teachers who teach at noisy area were more likely to report having a voice problem. (4) There was no significant difference in the voice spectrum change of the teachers who teach at noisy area and the teachers who teach at rural area.
