國 內國小輔導工作長期被詬病於其專業效能的無法發揮,究其主要原因與其缺乏有效能的兒童諮商員教育訓練有關。本研究之目的為了解諮商新手在從事兒童個別諮商 工作的最初十週專業歷程之發展與變化,以作為未來相關研究與教學改進之參考。 本研究透過邀請的方式,共募得26名(全為女性)來自四所師院輔導組正在修習諮商實習課程之大學學生參與本研究。研究資料的蒐集乃透過對研究參與者於期初 與期末之訪談與相關量表填答(自尊、內外控、憂鬱、諮商工作焦慮、與個別諮商表現),以及連續十週每週填寫兒童個別諮商經驗紀錄。 研究結果發現:(1)兒童諮商新手在其專業發展歷程中,期初與期末表現達統計顯著水準之進步者有:自尊、會談前焦慮、以及諮商表現;未達統計顯著水準者 有:憂鬱傾向、會談過程焦慮以及會談後焦慮。(2)兒童諮商新手在其專業發展歷程中,諮商工作焦慮的會談過程焦慮,期初與期末之改變情形較與其個人原先憂 鬱與焦慮傾向有關;至於會談前與會談後的焦慮改變情形則較與其期末諮商表現以及期初與期末諮商表現的進步情形有關。(3)兒童諮商新手在其諮商表現的專業 發展歷程方面,訊息互動技術與深層互動技術的期末表現與進步情形均與會談前與會談後的焦慮改變情形有關;然而基本溝通技術之進步情形則僅與會談前焦慮之進 步情形有關,而與會談後焦慮之進步情形無關。(4)兒童個案的反應與經驗到諮商關係的進展,為兒童諮商新手認定其諮商經驗為正向與負向經驗的兩項重要指 標。(5)諮商新手以為會影響其諮商進行的兒童個案問題的特質有A.家長與級任老師對兒童個案與諮商的干擾因素,B.兒童個案的認知發展、表達能力與方 式、及其生活經驗與諮商新手不同,C.兒童個案好動、好玩、與自我中心的特質,以及D.兒童個案不瞭解諮商、易出現沈默、回答「不知道」、說謊、與抗拒合 作等行為。 研究中並呈現研究結果的討論,以及對未來研究與兒童諮商員教育的建議。

The purpose of this study was to explore ten-week experiences of novice children counselors and their responses when working with children. Twenty-six undergraduates (all females) in a counseling program were invited to participate in this study. Data were collected and analyzed by two depth-interviews, self-reported inventories (Zung\'s Depression Scales, Rotter\'s Internal-External Locus of Control, Rosenberg\'s Self-Esteem Scale, Counselor Anxiety Scale, & Counseling Ability Inventory), and ten-week written reports. Research found that the self-esteem, anxiety before session, and counseling ability of novice counselors have been improved through ten-week period. However, the depression, anxiety in the session, and anxiety after the session of novice counselors have not been improved through the process. Research also revealed that novice counselors viewed their quality of counseling experiences primarily based on the \"client responses\" and \"relationship progresses\". Implications and suggestions for further research as well as child counselor training are discussed.
