The result suggest that more passive and dependent patient role perceived among the face-to-face medical encounter patients, an active role of patient was perceived among the health internet users in D-P relationship. In general, those who used health internet show a lower degree of compliance and a higher propensity to seek plural health services than those who sought face-to-face medical help. While the degree of compliance is determined by the D-P interaction in the health internet consultation, need variable is highly related to compliance in the face to face encounter. Those who prefer the mutual-participation interaction with doctor and who were more satisfied with the health internet services show a higher intention to seek health consultation on the internet again.
