導 師輔導學生的言行背後潛藏具有關鍵性的輔導信念,我國國中導師的輔導信念值得深究,卻尚未見有相關研究。本研究採取臨床訪談法,訪談台北市、高雄市和台灣 省共20位國民中學導師。然後根據訪談資料設計國中導師輔導信念量表,邀請中部地區 250位公私立國中導師填答。在臨床訪談方面,有下列幾點結論,導師輔導信念量表的分析也有相似結論: 1.受訪導師多數認為國民中學教育的問題和社會變遷、家庭環境有密切關係;部份導師也認為學校和教師的責任也不可輕忽。 2.受訪教師都感受到十年、二十年間的社會變遷,最明顯是學生「比較自我」、「比較不服從權威」、「比較不信任老師」、「比較活潑」,教師也都意識到命令 式的班級經營難以發揮功能,而調整使用說理方式。有部份導師認為現在學生較不負責任、較不能自我控制。 3.受訪導師絕大多數都承認曾經運用體罰,但是絕不隨便使用。有的導師認為體罰還是最有嚇阻作用的方式。但是也有學校禁止使用體罰,導師也不使用體罰。有 的導師對於自己的生活輔導表示強烈自信而樂於其中,有的雖然有自信但是感到疲累,有的則充滿倦怠感和不安感。 4.導師的人格特質、班級特性、班級經營成功失敗經驗、學校的支持度有關係,有待日後進一步實証探討。 5.導師輔導信念的結構包含導師的人性觀、教育哲學觀、自我效能觀念,有待日後進一步驗証。

Junior-high-school tutors take main responsibility for teaching and guidance; tutors\' underlying beliefs of guidance and of adolescent students, which influence their practical behaviors, should be investigated thoroughly. However, domestic studies on tutors’ underlying beliefs have not been found in Taiwan. This study investigated the guidance beliefs of junior-high-school tutors by clinically interviewing twenty junior-high-school tutors from Taipei Metropolitan, Kaohsing Metro-politan, and Taiwan Province. Then based on the analysis of the data collected from interview, a scale of junior-high-school tutors\' guidance beliefs was developed and was used to measure two hundred and fifty tutors from area of middle Taiwan. The following are five points of conclusion based on data collected from interview: 1.most subjects thought that the variety of problems of junior-high-school education were closely related to change of society and family; but schools and teachers were also responsible for those problems; 2.all subjects agreed that nowadays students were more ego centrism, more active, less conformable, and less trust than their counterpartner of ten or twenty years ago. 3.most subjects committed physical punish-ment, and believed that it was the most powerful way to stop misbehavior; some subjects enjoyed the job as a tutor with confidence and self-efficacy; some suffered from the feeling of burn-out and unsafety; 4.some more studies should be conducted to verify the relationship among tutors\' personality, characteristics of class, tutors\' experience as tutors, and support from school administration departments; 5.some more studies should be conducted to validate the structure of tutors\' beliefs, such as beliefs on human nature, educational philosophy, and self efficacy.
