本研究擬以兩年時間參酌大學通識素養之文獻、評量工具及廣納學者意見,經嚴謹程序來編製適用於大學一至四級學生的「大學生通識核心素養量表」,並驗證信度與效度、建立全國性常模,以及發展量表解釋模式與指導手冊。 第一年截至12月底已訪談46名、調查150名中華民國通識教育學會理事長、一般大學學者、科技大學學者、政府部門人員、企業界或社會團體主管及大學畢業兩年內校友來瞭解各界對通識核心素養的意義、架構及內涵,隨後將召開焦點座談,以建構本量表架構。未來擬透過文獻探討、訪談、問卷調查及學者專家焦點座談蒐集相關資料,以形成預試題本;後經由預試600名大學生進行題目分析,以確定本量表正式題本。量表編製完成後,第二年以穩定係數、Cronbach 內部一致性係數來驗證信度,以內容效度、效標關聯效度、建構效度來驗證效度,隨機抽取1500名大學生為常模樣本來建立全國性常模。 建立常模後,擬發展大學生通識核心素養量表的量表解釋模式,提出個別解釋及團體解釋實例;並製作量表指導手冊,以協助量表運用者有效使用本量表。

This study aims to construct a general core literacy inventory suitable for college students from the first to the fourth year, through a strict and careful process, after consulting the literature and assessment tools related to college students’ general literacy as well as extensively collecting scholars’ opinions within a two-year time frame. This study will then verify the reliability and validity of the inventory, set up national norms and develop explanatory models and an instruction manual. This study collected opinions of those people including the chairman of Chinese Association of General Education, scholars of the university and the university of science and technology, government officials, superintendents of business community or social organizations and the university alumni within two years of which 46 were interviewed and 150 were surveyed in order to understand the meaning, structure and content of the general education core literacy, then convened a focus forum, in order to construct the framework of this inventory before the end of the first year . Relevant data will then be gathered from the literature, interviews, questionnaire survey and discussions of focus groups that consist of scholars and experts, in order to compile pretest questions. The pretest will be carried out on 600 college students for question analysis, in order to confirm the official questions in the inventory. Following the construction of the inventory, its reliability will be verified with stability factors and Cronbach coefficient of internal consistency, while its validity will be examined using content validity, criterion-related validity and construct validity. 1500 college students will then be randomly selected as a norm sample to set up national norms in the second year. After norms are established, explanatory models for the general core literacy inventory for college students will be developed to provide explanations for individual and group cases, and an inventory instruction manual will be prepared to help inventory users to efficiently utilize the .
