此研究建基在101年度「高齡教育的社會效果評估:健康及公民參與指標之建構與應用」的執行基礎上,主要以活躍老化觀點、生態系統理論,以及影響社會效果 的基本概念模型作為理論基礎,並結合高齡教育、社會效果的相關研究,旨在發展「高齡教育的社會效果評估:學習者觀點」量表,並進行高齡學習者的調查。為達 研究目的,此研究採問卷調查法進行研究,針對樂齡學習中心、樂齡大學、長青學苑的學習者發出問卷,共計發出10690份,回收有效問卷9033份,有效回 收率為84.50%,並針對調查所得資料進行統計分析,共獲致八項結論,包括:第一、高齡教育社會效果包含健康、公民參與兩個層面;第二、健康層面包含健 康知識、健康狀態兩個向度;第三、公民參與包含個人、家庭、社區、社會四個向度;第四、高齡教育的社會效果不會因為年齡的不同而有所差異;第五、女性參與 高齡教育的社會效果大於男性;第六、低教育程度的參與者產生較高的社會效果;第七、各類高齡教育機構的課程類型有不同程度的社會效果,長青學苑的人文藝術 課程社會效果最佳,樂齡學習中心的貢獻課程社會效果最佳,樂齡大學的學校特色課程社會效果最佳;第八、相較於長青學苑、樂齡大學而言,樂齡學習中心產生較 大幅度的社會效果。

In order to assess the social outcomes of elder education, this study based on the last year result of “The evaluation of social outcomes of elder education: the indicator construction and application of health and civic engagement”, aims to investigate social outcomes of older adult learning (hereafter older adult SOL) through focusing on the impact toward health and civic and social engagement (hereafter CSE) after the older adults received education and involved in learning activities.

This study use questionnaire survey. Subjects were the senior learners from three categories of older adult educational institutes which are Evergreen Academy, Senior Learning Center and Senior Learning Academy. A total of 9033 valid questionnaires were collected. Valid recovery rate is 84.50%. The exact copies of questionnaires retrieved from each category of older adult educational institutes are 3397 copies from Senior Learning Center, 3455 from Evergreen Academy and 2181 from Senior Learning Academy.

Eight findings stand out: First, the older adult SOL include health and CSE. Second, the health domain include two dimensions, which is health knowledge and health status. Third, the CSE domain include four dimensions, which is individual, family, community and society. Fourth, there is no significant difference between different age of the older adult SOL. Fifth, the female participants have higher social outcomes than the males. Sixth, lower educational level have higher social outcomes than the higher educational level participants. Seventh, different kinds of older adult educational institution provide different level of older adult SOL. Eighth, Senior Learning Center presented the best social outcomes. Suggestions are offered for government agency dealing with older adult educational institutions.
